Illness Fatal to David Allen Mayse
David Allen Mayse, two month old son of Charles and Opal Estes Mayse of near Gings, died at Rushville Memorial Hospital at 5 p.m. Friday after an illness of several days. The child was born August 14.
In addition to the parents, he is survived by two sisters, Joyce Fern and Brenda Gale Mayse, at home and four grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Burton Mayse of Milan and Mr. and Mrs. Lucien Estes near Raleigh.
The Rev. John Elliott will conduct funeral services at 10 a.m. Monday at Moster and Sons Mortuary, where friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in East Hill.

Double Funeral Held for Babies.
Double funeral services were conducted this morning at the Moster and Sions Mortuary for Brenda Gale and David Allen Mayse, children of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mayse of near Gings.
David Allen, age two months, died at Rush Memorial Hospital Fridy and about 15 hours later on Saturday, Brenda Gale, age eleven months, died at the family home on Rushville, Route 7. Brenda Gale Mayse was born in Connersville on November 3, 1955.
Survivors include the parents, Charles and Opal Estes Mayse, a sister, Joyce Fern, and the grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Lucien Estes of near Raleigh; and Mr. and Mrs. Burton Mayse of Milan.
Rites were conducted by the Revs. John Elliott and Graham Marsh. Burial was in East Hill Cemetery.
