Joint funeral services for three members of the Stanley Lindsey family of Bulverde were held in the Beckmann Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 19, 1996, with the Rev. Don Ofsdahl officiating. Interment followed in the Willow City Cemetery.
The three were Stanley Lindsey, 43; his wife, Pennye Lindsey, 42, and their son, Sheldon Lindsey, 18.
All three died on Wednesday, March 13, in what officers have ruled was a double murder and suicide. Pennye Lindsey and Sheldon Lindsey died of gunshots in their home, while Stanley Lindsey died after shooting himself and wrecking his pickup a short distance from their home.

Sheldon Lindsey, an honor student at Smithson Valley High School, was born in Victoria, on March 9, 1978, the son of Stanley Lindsey and Pennye Hohmann Lindsey.
He is survived by his grandparents, Elmer and Helen Elizabeth Lindsey of Pearsall.
