Joint funeral services for three members of the Stanley Lindsey family of Bulverde were held in the Beckmann Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 19, 1996, with the Rev. Don Ofsdahl officiating. Interment followed in the Willow City Cemetery.
The three were Stanley Lindsey, 43; his wife, Pennye Lindsey, 42, and their son, Sheldon Lindsey, 18.
All three died on Wednesday, March 13, in what officers have ruled was a double murder and suicide. Pennye Lindsey and Sheldon Lindsey died of gunshots in their home, while Stanley Lindsey died after shooting himself and wrecking his pickup a short distance from their home.

Pennye Lindsey was born in Fredericksburg on March 14, 1953, the daughter of Rudolf Hohmann and Flaurel Massey Hohmann. Both of her parents are deceased.
She married Stanley Lindsey on Feb. 14, 1975 in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Fredericksburg.
She is survived by two sisters and a brother: Betty and her husband, Stanley Klaerner, of Fredericksburg; Rudena and her husband, Lee Gregory, of Georgetown, and William W. Hohmann of Willow City.
