MISS MARY YERKES, an honorary member of the old Bucktails, died at St. Joseph's Hospital, Philadelphia, from meningitis, superinduced by an operation, on July 30th, 1904, aged 45 years. Miss Yerkes was a daughter of the late Capt. John D. Yerkes and her name has long been on the Bucktail roll. She was buried by the side of her gallant father in beautiful Longwood Cemetery, at Kennctt Square. (Reported by Comrade Richard W. Yerkes.)
