Betty W. Benner, 76, of 619 Hershey Ave., Lancaster, died Sunday at Mennonite Home. Born in Bareville, she was the daughter of the late David and Florence Sheaffer Weaver. Betty was the wife of Maurice Benner. Mrs. Benner was a bookkeeper for many different corporations during her career. She was active with Friends of the Library and started the used book store at the Lancaster County Library. She attended Bethany Presbyterian church in Lancaster.

Surviving besides her is a son, Guy, husband of Linda Benner, of Lancaster, Pa.; a grandson, Ryan Benner of Lancaster; and two granddaughters, Julie Martin, Leola, and Loretta Ciarrocca, Lancaster; a sister, Sylvia Martin, New Holland; and a brother, Carl Weaver of Ephrata.

A Memorial Service will be held at Bethany Presbyterian Church, 25 N. West End Ave, Lancaster, PA on Saturday, MAY 27, 2006 at 11:00 a.m.The family will greet people after the service. Interment will be private and held at the conveniences of the family. Please omit flowers.
