Born in East Earl, he was the son of the late David and Florence (Sheaffer) Weaver. He was married 72 years on Aug. 22 to Dorothy (Stokes) Weaver.
He worked as a Site Maintenance Manager at the former New Holland Elementary School and later for the Great Valley School District in Malvern.
He was a member of St. Stephen Reformed Church in New Holland. During WWII, he served in the US Air Force. He enjoyed watch and clock repair and rebuilding.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three children, Terry Weaver of Sand Lake, NY, Jim Weaver of Locust Grove, VA, and Marjorie, married to Mario DiNero of Wickliffe, OH; a grandson, Kory Weaver; two great grandchildren, Justin and Kylie Weaver; and a sister, Sylvia Martin of New Holland.
Preceding him in death is a sister, Betty Lou Benner.
