SIMMET SERVICES WILL BE SATURDAY
Funeral services for Mrs. Augusta Simmet, 81, a resident of Nekoosa for 46 years, will be conducted at the Nekoosa Bethlehem church at 1:30 Saturday afternoon by the Rev. Kersten. Burial will follow in Riverview cemetery at Nekoosa. The body was taken to the H. H. Voss residence this afternoon to remain until time for the service.
Mrs. Simmet, who died at the Port Edwards Home for the Aged at 7:50 Tuesday morning, is survived by one son, Adolph of California, who is en route to attend the services. Three children and her husband, John Simmet, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Simmet came to Nekoosa from Chicago in 1899 and had lived in the United States for 73 years, her birthplace was in Germany. She was a member of the Legion Auxiliary of Archie Hamel Post of Nekoosa.
*Son, Adolph Ludwig "Otto" Simmet, is buried in Galt cemetery, Galt, Sacramento, California.
