Mary "Nannie" Tuley, 85, of Good Samaritan Home, died at 8:35 a.m. Sunday (June 30, 1985) in the home. Mrs. Tuley was born Nov. 8, 1899, in Lewis County, Mo., a daughter of William F. and Anna Edith Shuman Henderson. She married Frank Tuley May 6, 1933, in Canton, Mo. He died Nov. 3, 1977. Mrs. Tuley worked 27 years as a salesclerk in the clothing department of Myers Brothers Department Store in Springfield, retiring in 1963. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Marie Baker of Quincy; three nieces, Mrs. Charles (Maxine) Gengenbacher of Quincy, Mrs. Betty Ellison of Springfield and Mrs. William (Patricia) York of Shalimar, Fla.; and two nephews, Joseph Baker of Quincy and William H. Henderson of Clinton. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brohters and two sisters. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. Lawrence Reed. Burial will be in Quincy Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
