Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Trinity United Methodist Church with the Rev. Sammie Rainey, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Holley Funeral Home of Canyon.
Mr. Holcomb was born in Chiahoga, Ohio, and retired after 36 years as an X-ray technician at Pantex. He served with the Army Air Corps during World War II, and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and North American Boat Association.
He married Mary Zella Riley in 1945 at Bossier City, La.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Patsy Parker of Bowie, Dee Ramirez of Amarillo and Carla Sue Tatum of Gahanna, Ohio; three sons, Jimmie Todd of Bowie, Howard John Holcomb Jr. of Brazoria and David Arther Holcomb of Crowley; a sister, Laura Toph of Ukiah, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; 20 greatgrandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.The family suggests memorials be to Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice and Life Enrichment Center.
