"Together Again"
On December 7, 2003 our beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather Kenny Nielson passed away from our loving arms to his beloved wife and family in heaven.
Kenny was born March 1, 1920 in Pleasant Grove, Utah. He attended school there and enjoyed many lasting friendships with family and neighbors, including his wife, Dorothy.
Kenny enjoyed hiking, sports, and hunting. He had a great love for all animals (God's creatures).
He served his country in World War II. He was an army sergeant and was an expert rifleman.
He married Dorothy Turner, March 1, 1947. They were later sealed in the Provo Temple for time and all eternity. He was employed by Geneva Steel, and retired from there. He had a very strong work ethic and kept a beautiful yard, a small farm and enjoyed raising exotic pheasants.

Survivors include his children: Kent (Shauna) Nielson, Kathy Byer, Pam (Ron) Sidwell, all of Pleasant Grove; 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; several brothers and sisters in law, whom he loved so much.
Preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; a son, Clint; a son-in-law, Thomas Byer; mother, Ivy Thorton; grandparents, Hogan and Annie Nielson; and many uncles, aunts, brothers and sisters-in-law. We will always love you!

Families are forever.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2003 at 12:00 noon in the Pleasant Grove Third Ward Chapel, 425 E.500 N. Pleasant Grove. Friends may call on Wednesday evening at the Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 S. 300 E., Pleasant Grove, from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services.
