Mrs. Peter V. Karls, 72, Kimball died Tuesday at 4:15 pm after an illness of two years.

Mrs. Karls (Veronica Steckel), was born in Richmond on August 27, 1876 and on November 28, 1899 was married to Peter Karls in Pearl Lake.

Mr. Karls survives with the following children: Clarence and William Karls, Mandan, ND; Albert and Bernard, Rockville; Nicholas, Albany; Christ, Theresa and Kathryn, at home. There are 17 grandchildren.

The body is at the family residence in Kimball. Funeral services will be at the Holy Cross Catholic church at Pearl Lake on Friday at 9:30 am with burial in the parish cemetery
