I believe this Mary Steele is Mary Whiting, the daughter of Joseph Whiting and Mary Abigail Goodwin. She married Epaphroditis Steele in Hartford, having eight known children together:
Sherman Seymour Steele (1807-1880)
Mary Jane Steele (1809-1883)
Charles Steele (1810-1836)
Julia Steele (1813-)
Cordelia Steele (1816-1880)
Martha Louisa Steele (1817-1887)
Sarah Steele (1821-1822)
Samuel Steele (1823-1823)

She passed away four months after the birth of her eighth child, who was stillborn. Her parents are also buried at North Cemetery. The death record is on FamilySearch:
