He has been connected to possible parents John Mulford (?1604-1686)(here?)(here?) and Anne (Sparkes) Mulford (?b.1614) of Southampton,NY (who arrived there in 1643 from Massachusetts), but I am unable to find verification. Thomas' parents are not mentioned in an article in NEHGR Volume 83, nor are they mention in an entry in the 2000 publication of Mayflower Descendants Through Five Generations in a volume on the Rogers family.

He married, second, about 1679, Hannah (Williams) Smith, the widow of John Smith and daughter of Thomas Williams and Elizabeth Tate Williams. She died at Eastham,MA on Feb 10,1717/8.
Children(by first marriage): Thomas Mulford Jr, John Mulford, Patience Mulford Doane, Anna Mulford, and Elizabeth Mulford Rich.
