He was a life member of Flohrville Methodist Church. He was a son of the late Thomas and Mary Justice, Howard County. Surviving, besides his widow, are two sons, James L. Justice, Jr. and William T. Justice, Sykesville; two brothers and a sister. Thomas F. Justice, at the Golden Age nursing home in Woodbine; William M. Justice, Marriottsville, and Mrs. Margaret Esworthy, Stevens.
The Rev. Charles Morgan, Jr., his pastor, conducted funeral services Sunday, Aug. 21 at 2 p.m. at the Haight funeral home. Sykesville. Burial was in New Freedom Cemetery, Sykesville.
