POLLARD, MRS. MARTHA - age 86, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2001, in the Lifecare Center of Morgan County (TN). She was a member of Armes Chapel Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Pollard; a infant son; parents, Ray and Laura Griffith, and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Joann Hamby and husband, Robert and Betty Griffith and husband Donald, all of Wartburg; son, Ray Pollard and his wife, Paulette, of Wartburg; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; sister, Lucille Bayless of Dayton, Ohio; brother Carl Griffith of Lake City, Tenn., and several nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday, Spetember 20, from 6-8 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Charles Webb officiating. Graveside services will be held Friday, 11 a.m. in the Catoosa Cemetery.
