She was the Town Clerk and Treasurer of the town of Lyman New Hampshire. She was very active in the community and ran the Lyman Bean Suppers at the Grange. Bertha was well loved by all who knew her. She had four children with her first husband, Homer Bonor. Bertha remarried after her first husband died. Bertha married Curt Pickwick (pictured with her to the side). She and her second husband had a grand time together. They are pictured here. They had been class mates in high school in Lisbon, NH.
