Lucile Hughes, 75, of the Monticello Community Health-Care Center, formerly of Rt. 1, Delphi, died a t 9:15 p.m. Saturday, November 26, 1977, there. Born October 27, 1902, in Carroll County, she was the daughter of Isaac and Mae Kingery Wolf. She was married May 21, 1927, to Arlie Hughes, who preceded her in death Oct. 21, 1969. She was a member of the Delphi United Methodist Church and the-Tip-Wa Grange. Surviving are the father of Logansport; three sons, Merrill D., Max G. and Ralph E. Hughes, all of Delphi; two daughters, Mrs. William (Wanda) Duff of Delphi and Mrs. Ray (Shirley) Brummett of Brookston; one brother, Manfred Wolf of Walton; three sisters, Mrs. Eva Penn of Syracuse, Mrs. Francis Doran of Logansport, and Mrs. Lois Couger of Bedford, Va.; 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services were Tuesday at Reinke Funeral Home, Flora, with the Rev. Donald Ashley officiating. Burial was in the Camden Cemetery.
