Funeral services for Mrs. James B. Cason, 59 years old, who died yesterday afternoon from complications said to have set in from injuries sustained in an automobile collision here on August 3, will be held from the home on Boyd avenue this afternoon at 5 o'clock' Dr. Roy C. Angell, pastor of the First Baptist church, will conduct the services, assisted by Dr. H. H. Thompson, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, and Dr. Frank L. Wells, pastor of the First Methodist church. Burial will be in Roselawn cemetery.

Pall bearers will be: W. M. Peavy, C. E. Bartel, I. M. Causey, W. E. Shirley, J. L. Bates and C. P. Smith.

Mrs. Cason was well known in Baton Rouge where she had made her home for the past 18 years, and her death came as a shock to her many friends here. She was a member of the First Baptist church of this city and was an ardent church worker. She was a native of Mississippi.

Mrs. Cason is survived by her husband, J. B. Cason; four sons, J. Wilmer Cason, O. A. Cason, S. W. Cason and George A. Cason, all of Baton Rouge; three daughters, Mrs. Shelby E. Kidd, Mrs. Henry Puckett, Jr., and Miss Winnie Dean Cason, all of this city; two sisters, Mrs. J. N. Smith, of Gloster, Miss. and Mrs. S. V. Van Norman, of New Orleans; and two brothers, Sam Van Norman, of Marshall, Tex., and Robert Van Norman, of Baton Rouge.
