Gloster, Miss., Feb. 21 — Funeral services were held at the City Baptist church Friday morning for Miss Sarah Virginia Van Norman, who died in New Orleans, Thursday, following a brief illness. Dr. E. K. Cox conducted the services, and interment was in the Gloster cemetery.

Miss Van Norman, aged 60, was the daughter of the late S. T. and Naoma McLain Van Norman, and was born and reared in Gloster, her parents being residents before the town was established.

She is survived by one sister, Mrs. J. N. Smith of Gloster, and one brother, S. B. Van Norman of Marshall, Tex., and a number of nieces and nephews.
