DIED.
COOK.-At her home in Locust Grove township, Saturday, March 6, 1880, Mrs. Rue COOK, wife of Frank COOK, aged 30 years, 9 months and 16 days.
She leaves a husband and a child and a large circle of relatives to mourn their loss. She was an affectionate wife, a kind mother, and was highly esteemed by those who knew her. Her funeral took place from the Cross Lane's Church. She died rejoicing in a Saviour's love, and, we humbly trust, has gone to the Christian's home in heaven.
"From adverse blasts and lowering storms,
Her favored soul He bore;
And with yon bright, angelic forms,
She lives, to die no more."
--------------
Note: Buried in Gantz Cemetery. Her maiden name was SEARS, and husband Francis remarried to Mary O. CARMEN and died in 1909.
