John J. Gardner died at 7:30 p.m. Friday at his home on the Stahlheber Road west of the city of stomach trouble, aged 65 years. He leaves a widow and four children, William, Paul, George, and Hilda Gardner and three stepchildren, Joseph Ernst, Mrs. Mary Lagedrost, and Harry Edmonds. He was a farmer by occupation. The funeral will take place from the house, Monday at 8:30 and at 9 a.m. from St. Stephen's Church with interment in St. Stephen's Cemetery.
