George Longhurst of Wallace, Mich., Mrs. John Hull of Green Bay
and Mrs. Emelie Cox of Milwaukee were here to attend the funeral
of the late J.F. Reardon held yesterday. Homer Bacon of Oshkosh,
assistant postmaster at Oshkosh and an officer of the Twenty
First Regiment survivors, who served in the same command with the
decedent in the civil war, was here yesterday to attend the funeral
of the late J.F. Reardon.

Enlisted as private 08/16/62 City of Manitowoc History--Wounded at Battle of Resaca, Ga. Discharged due to wounds 06/11/65. At the time of his enlistment REARDON was age 19, single and listed his occupation as a farmer. He had blue eyes, dark hair and stood 5'7".
1880 Census lists occupation as Policeman
