She was the first child of James Estell Maden Jr and Lillian Fisher Benson Maden. During the 1950s she graduated from the Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, in Wilmington, Delaware, as a Registered Nurse, and worked for the Getty Oil Company, Delaware City, Delaware, as a nurse. She married Leonard W. Quigley on 21 May 1951 at the Rectory of Christ our King R.C. Church, Wilmington, Delaware. They had four daughters: Carolen, Caren, Cheryl, and Catherine. In 1988, they were divorced, and she later married Harry Morris. She died of stomach cancer, and is buried with her second husband. First Wife of Leonard W. Quigley, they had four children: Carolen Estelle, Caren Eve, Cheryl Elizabeth, and Catherine Emma. They were divorced in 1988.

"CAROL E. (MADEN) QUIGLEY MORRIS
Age 69, of Bear, died on Friday, Sept. 22, 2000 at Christiana Hospital, Newark, after a brief illness.
Mrs. Morris was a registered nurse and worked for Motiva Enterprise (formerly Getty Oil) in Delaware City, retiring in 1991. Mrs. Morris' husband, Harry J. Morris, Jr., died in 1997. She was also preceded in death by her mother, Lillian (Benson) Maden, who died in 1990; her father, James E. Maden, Jr., who died on Sept. 1, 2000; and her brother, James E. Maden III, who died in March 2000. She is survived by 4 daughters, Carolen E. Jackson and her husband, Jerry, of Wilmington; Caren Goff and her companion, Roger Bond of Bear; Cheryl Cermele and her husband, Mike; and Catherine Spinelli and her husband, Lou of Newark; and 8 grand-children: Teresa and Jenine Mullin, Shayna Stidham, Nick and Anthony Cermele, Jason Sakowski, Danny Jackson, and Shane Kelley. She is also survived by her former husband, Leonard Quigley; 5 nieces and 5 stepchildren and their families.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2000, at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 209 Washington St., Delaware City.
Friends may call from 7-9 pm on Wed., Sept. 27, 2000 at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 214 Clinton St., Delaware City. Internment will be in New St. Paul's Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way, New Castle, DE 19720."
