She was the first child of James Estell Maden Jr and Lillian Fisher Benson Maden. During the 1950s she graduated from the Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, in Wilmington, Delaware, as a Registered Nurse, and worked for the Getty Oil Company, Delaware City, Delaware, as a nurse. She married Leonard W. Quigley on 21 May 1951 at the Rectory of Christ our King R.C. Church, Wilmington, Delaware. They had four daughters: Carolen, Caren, Cheryl, and Catherine. In 1988, they were divorced, and she later married Harry Morris. She died of stomach cancer, and is buried with her second husband. ∼First Wife of Leonard W. Quigley, they had four children: Carolen Estelle, Caren Eve, Cheryl Elizabeth, and Catherine Emma. They were divorced in 1988.
