Ruth "Ruthie" Moats, 74, a resident of Cleveland, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010, at her residence with her family by her side.

She was born March 25, 1936, in Struthers, Ohio, and was married August 18, 1952, to Clarence Moats in Ringgold, Ga.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ruth Eisenbraun; and two brothers: Ralph Eisenbraun and Billy Eisenbraun.

Survivors include her husband, Clarence Moats, of Cleveland; three sons: Randy Moats and wife, Cindy, of Cleveland, Joseph Moats and wife, Sonya, of Old Fort, and Chuck Moats of Cleveland; one daughter, Cindy Ellis of Old Fort; nine grandchildren: Amy Lawson and husband, Kevin, Bridgett Moats, Carrie Moats, Corey Moats and wife, Sissy, Adam Ellis and wife, Christina, Lena Moats, Katie Moats, Karissa Moats and Patrick Moats; and 13 great-grandchildren; one sister, Sally Shipley of Youngstown, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010, at Chestuee Baptist Church in Polk County with the Rev. Eddie Hooker, the Rev. Jasper Woody and the Rev. Gary Moats officiating.

Interment will follow in Chestuee Baptist Church Cemetery in Polk County with Adam Ellis, Corey Moats, Gary Moats, Larry Moats, David Moats and Colton Reeder serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 this evening at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
