Clarence N. Lagedrost, 68, 3720 Fourteenth St., West, Bradenton, Fla. died early Saturday morning in Blake Memorial Hospital, Bradenton. He was born in Hamilton, a son of Nicholas and Frances Zeis Lagedrost. He was educated in St. Joseph Parochial School. He was a prominent Butler County farmer, active in farming for over 20 years. He was a member of the teamsters Union and was employed with the Butler County Lumber Company and the Martin Lingler Coal Company for many years. He married Eleanora Baecker Shalk in Covington, Ky. He had been a resident of Bradenton for the past 3 years. Survivors include his wife Eleanora Lagedrost, Bradenton, Fla.; a brother, Charles Lagedrost, Hamilton; two sisters, Mrs. Clifford (Margaret) Ross and Mrs. Charles (Helen) Bunger, Hamilton; a sister-in-law Mrs. Henrietta Williamson, Bradenton, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. in the Colligan Funeral Home, 437 South Third St. Mass of Christian Burial will be intoned in St. Joseph Church at 1 p.m. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Tuesday.
