James was survived by his wife, Pearl (Arnold) Tatum, 4 children, Allen Dennis Tatum, Mary Ellen Tatum, Mildred Louise Tatum and Jane Ann Tatum.
Services were held at the Memorial Chapel of the Summers-Rainey Funeral Home in Olney, IL with burial in the Haven Hill Cemetery.
