Earl Patterson, 66, lifelong resident of Noble community, died at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Richland Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Chapel of the Noble Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Everett in charge. Burial will be in Noble cemetery. Friends may call at the Noble funeral home after 3 p.m. today.
Mr. Patterson was for a number of years employed in the maintenance of Noble Township highways.
The deceased was born August 11, 1903 in Noble Township, son of the late Peter and Elizabeth Patterson.
He is survived by his wife, Jessie; a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Louise) Weidman of Freeport, Texas; a son, Michael of Olney; a step-grandson, John Weidman of Hutchinson, Kansas; one grandchild and a great-grandchild. A brother, Virgil Patterson of Noble, a sister in-law, Mrs. Grace Patterson of Noble, and several nephews and nieces also survive.
