Nadell Lue Davis, resident of Ponca City, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2010 at the family home. She was 77.

Lue was born May 4, 1933 at Salina, Oklahoma, to Ray and Modell Brown. She spent her early years in Salina, and then graduated High School from Vinita, Oklahoma. Lue and her twin sister attended Northeastern Oklahoma State University where she met her future husband, Joel Davis. She married Joel E. Davis on March 7, 1953 in Pryor, Oklahoma. Together they shared their love for 57 years.

Lue was a member of Northeast Baptist church. She loved to go camping, be with her family, shop at clothing stores, sew and swing on her patio.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Davis, of the home, 3 daughters, Charlotte Ray and husband Ricky, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Stephanie Orban and husband Jack, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Tracey Hill and husband David, of Ponca City; her twin sister Radell Sue Penwright of Ponca City. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and was recently blessed with her first great grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Modell Brown.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, September 20, 2010 at Northeast Baptist Church with Pastor, Dr. Larry Nigh, presiding. Arrangements are under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.
