Louis Buese is Called By Death. Louis Buese, retired Giant resident passed away at Salt Lake City, Utah, last evening following a short illness. He suffered a stroke several weeks ago while he was on a business trip. The deceased was a native of Wisconsin and was 80 years of age. He had been a resident of Giant for the past ten years, living with his daughter, Mrs. E. Durand. He was the husband of the late Mary Buese. He is survived by the following children. Mrs. Theresa Verran of ....View, Nicholas Buese of Maine, Louis Buese of Los Angeles, Mrs. Josephine Durand of Giant, a sister, Mrs. Charles Fox of Iowa, and a brother, A. Buese, in Kilbourn, Wis. and ten grandchildren. The body is being shipped to the funeral parlors. Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon with a blessing at ....Catholic Church. The body will leave the Ryan funeral home at 2:30 for the church. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. "Richmond Independent", Saturday, April 28, 1934.

Louis Buese, 79, a resident of Richmond, Cal., died in a local hospital Friday night of a cerebral hemorrhage. Mr. Buese was born in Wisconsin February 13, 1853, but had been a resident of California for many years. At the time he was stricken he was on a business trip in Salt Lake. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. R.C. Verran and Mrs. G.E. Durand, and two sons, Louis and Nicholas Buese, all residents of California. The body will be sent to California Saturday night for burial.
