Vera Rogers, 81, of 1007 Burkburnett Road died Sunday in her home.
Arrangements are under direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Rogers was born June 7, 1904, in Eastland County, Texas. She was a retired nurse and a member of Jefferson Street Baptist Church, Woodmen of the World Auxiliary and a charter member of Rebekah Lodge No. 236.
Survivors include her husband, W.A.; a stepdaughter, Wilma Stone of Fort Worth; and three sisters, Virginia Blaskowsky of Fort Worth, Velma Hackworth of Bowie, Texas, and Beth Taylor of Wichita Falls.

Services for Vera Rogers, 81, of 1007 Burkburnett Road, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Jefferson Street Baptist Church with the Rev. Bobby Christmas, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery with arrangements under direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home.
