Charles Goff was born on 1/21/1937 to the late Charles and Marie Goff he was the eldest of 4 children. Charles was united in Holy Matrimony on 6/11/1960 to the late Dorothy E. Goff. Joe as he was called by family and friends departed this earth 3/30/2010 after a long illness. Joe was baptized as a young boy in the Catholic Church and served as an altar boy. Joe was educated in the D.C. Public schools where he excelled in football at Phelps Sr. High School, where the phelps football players ranked outstanding football team in the division 11 of the inter- high league. Charles (joe) served in the U.S. Air Force where he was honorably discharged. He was giving an award for good conduct and no time lost. Charles was a long time employee of the Kennedy Warren where he was well respected and liked by everyone. Charles was described as an excellent employee while working at the Kennedy Warren, he retired after 25 years of dedicated service.
