Ruby Baird, 94, passed away October 12, 1991 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Born March 30, 1897 in Spring Lake, Utah to Lorenzo Snow Huish and Annie Broadbent. Married Joseph Reese Baird on June 15, 1926 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple; he passed away in 1971. She lived most of her life in Holladay, except in recent years she lived with her son in Las Vegas. She was a teacher at Lees Ferry School. She was active in the LDS Church, serving as a Primary president and Relief Society president.
Survived by all of her children, one brother, David Huish, Sandy; three sisters, Helena Evans, Murray; Ruth Beecroft, Provo; Edna Hilton, Holladay, 52 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11 a.m., at the MacKay Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 Highland Dr. Friends may call 9:30-10:45 a.m. Thursday morning prior to service. Interment: Holladay Memorial Park. Funeral Directors: MacKay Cottonwood Mortuary.
