Her sister, Minnie Adell Brush, nursed her sister, Lola, until she died. Lola's husband Hawood Miller had gone to WWI.
James D. Brush and family that were still at home, left Albany Shackleford County, Texas after 1915 and were back in Palo Pinto County, Texas by the 1920 census.
