They were the parents of 7 children; Iva Bell, Thomas, Linnie Pearl, Leslie Sherman, Flossie Mildred, Loyal David and Mary Zeta. After her death, he married Lillian Sandham Teal on February 24, 1910 in Anita, Iowa. David and Lillian were the parents of 3 children; Harry Batey, Raymond Richard and Jennie Medler. He was a farmer. According to family sources the dod date on his headstone is incorrect and should be May 27, 1942.
