B.C. "Badge" Duncan, 84, died Sunday, December 19, 1999 in Wichita Falls.

Memorial services were held Wednesday, December 22, at 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Larry Crumpton officiation. Services were under the direction of Archer Funeral Home in Seymour.

Mr. Duncan was born March 4, 1915 in Bowie. He moved to Wellington when he was a small child and graduated with the Wellington High School Class of 1934.

He and Burnalee Beaird were married January 8, 1935. She died December 8, 1993.

He lived in Wellington for fifty years and farmed and operated several business.

In 1971, he moved to Waco where he and his wife were house parents at the Methodist Children's Home. He later moved to Seymour in 1994.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church in West, Texas.

Survivors are two sons, Douglas Duncan of Seymour and John Duncan of Boydville, Oklahoma; one sister, Mary Allen of Kingsland; one brother, H.L. Duncan, Jr. of Kingsland, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
