Callie Louise King was born September 17, 1926 in Canton, Missouri, a daughter of William and Nellie (McDermott) King. Callie married her high school sweetheart, Paul Boudreau, on November 8, 1947 at St. Patrick's Cathedral in St. Patrick, Missouri. Paul preceded her in death on June 12, 2003.
Callie worked for Younkers, retiring in 2000 after over 20 years of service. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Alter and Rosary, and a charter member of the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary.
Callie was an accomplished seamstress. She enjoyed bingo and going to the riverboat with her sisters, although she never once won. Her most cherished time was the time she spent with her family.
Memorials may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church, Shrine of St. Patrick, St. Patrick, MO, or to the Humility of Mary Shelter, Davenport.
She is survived by her daughters, Vonnie (Jerry Bald) Boudreau, and Karen (Don) Huss; sons, Stan (Cyndee) Boudreau, all of Davenport, and Tim (Sherry) Boudreau of Bartlett, IL; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Geneva Wiegand, Davenport, Kathy Hesse, Rock Island, and Margie (Marty) Linehan, Davenport.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 55 years, Paul, her parents, twin infant sons, Pat and Paul Boudreau, a brother, Pat King, and a sister, Mary Jones. May they rest in peace. The family would like to thank the staff at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House for the care and compassion they showed to Callie.
