Rita F. Tressler, 91, a retired music consultant, died Thursday in Fort Worth.

Graveside service: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Greenwood Memorial Park.

Memorials: Cancer Society or charity of choice.

Rita F. Tressler was born April 27, 1905, in Wyndmoor, Pa. She resided in Wilmington, Del. before moving to San Diego, Calif. in 1948. She worked for Thearle Music Co. until retiring in 1970, then moving to Fort Worth. She loved music and traveling which she did extensively. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church. She married Charles T. Tressler Sept. 21, 1923. He died Dec. 8, 1984.

Survivors: Sons, Carl D. Tressler of Scottsdale, Ariz. and Eddy Parker of Fort Worth; daughter, Rita Hirsch of Crisfield, Md.; brother, Walter R. Fetter of Lansdale, Pa..; sister, Edith Manning of Philadelphia, Pa.; grandchildren, Larry C. Hirsch of Middletown, Del., Linda D. McCoy of Wilmington, Del., Wendy L. Smith of Baltimore, Md.; five great-grandchildren, Heather, Stephanie, Shawn, Nicole and Melissa.
