Trina Lorraine (Wingo) Martin, 98, passed away on January 10, 2013. Trina was born to Harvey and Neetice McIntosh Wingo in Pawnee, Oklahoma on November 19, 1914. She graduated from Pawnee High School and entered Nurses training at Oklahoma General Hospital (now called Mercy). She graduated with an R. N. degree in 1937. In 1939 she met and married Dr. Howard Martin. After his service in WW II, they settled in Oklahoma City where he was in private practice. The couple had two children, Sheila Martin Harris Taylor and Keith Martin. Trina loved her church, was a 50 year member and belonged to several circles and UMCW. Trina was also an avid Oklahoma University Football fan. She loved talking about OU Football with her grandchildren. Trina left Oklahoma City in 2010 to be closer to her daughter in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Trina is survived by her daughter, Sheila, her husband Jim, living in Bartlesville, and her son, Dr. Keith Martin and his wife, Susan, of Orange, California. She is also survived by grandchildren, Jeff Harris and his wife Kim of Dewey, Oklahoma, Lacie Harris Troxell and her husband Mark of Tulsa, Whitney Martin Wilkes of California and Natalie Martin of New York. Great grandchildren, Scott Harris and his wife Audrey, of Bartlesville, David Harris and his wife Deidre of Dewey, J. D. Brooks, Megan Troxell and Tim Troxell all of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Hunter Wilkes of California. Great-great-grandaughters, Jaydyn Farmer and Kyleigh Harris of Dewey, and Lily Harris of Bartlesville. Trina was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband.
