Norma Lee Brown, 65, of Amarillo died Friday, April 5, 2002.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Bykota Baptist Church with the Rev. Rick Rice, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. in Silverton Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle.

Mrs. Brown was born Jan. 31, 1937, in Terrell to her parents, Myrl Cole English and Joseph Carnell (J.C.) English. She was raised in Plainview and had lived in Amarillo for over 30 years.

She was a member of Bykota Baptist Church where she was highly involved in the love and action ministry. She married Billy Fred Brown on Sept. 19, 1953, in Clovis, N.M.

She was preceded in death by her father; and two brothers, Adrian Keith English and Robbie Joe English.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Rick Dale Brown and wife, Karen Ann, of Panhandle and Wendell Warren Brown and wife, Linda, of Nevada, Mo.; her mother; a sister, Freida Cooper of Lubbock; four granddaughters; two grandsons; and a great-grandson.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
