He married Mary Smyser and fathered Charles H. (b. 10/13/66), Edward (b. @1868), Sallie (b. @1869), Latimer J. (b. 08/27/71), David (b. @1875), George (b. @1877), and Augustus Emanuel (b. 09/18/79). In 1890, he lived in Manchester Township, York County, where he died from "lobar pneumonia." He is often referred to as "Urias" rather than "Darius."
