Mrs. Lula Cammack Died Sunday at Glennville Home


Mrs. Lula Cammack,85, died Sunday night at her home in Glennville after a long illness.

A native of Tattnall County, she was a member of the Watermelon Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Bessie Lee of Manassas; two sons, Clyde and Curtis Cammack, of Glennville; a sister, Mrs. Lala Bradley of Jacksonville, Fla.; a brother, Dave Bradley of Claxton; 11 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Watermelon Creek Baptist Church conducted by Rev. H.C. Hodges and Rev. W.R. Barnard. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Active pallbearers were nephews Carl Bradley, Remer Purvis, Enoch Bradley, Harlton Anderson, Hugh Bradley and Roy Blocker.

Honorary pallbearers were Harry Sands, Punch Sharpe, Billy Howard, C.W. Kicklighter, Derrell Dasher, Vernon Dasher.

Rimes Mortuary of Glennville was in charge.
