Mrs. Fagan was born in Emery, Alabama in 1907. She married Elmo Samuel Fagan on March 30, 1927 at Crandall, Mississippi who survives.
She moved west in 1935 and lived in Bly from 1942 to 1948. She owned and operated the Bly Hotel Restaurant and was a cook for the Bly School District.
She moved to Ashland in 1948 and from 1955 to 1972 she managed the student union at Southern Oregon State College. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Ashland.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are sons, Eldon Fagan, Medford, and Bill Fagan, Talent; daughters, Nan Franklin, Ashland, and Anne Patzke, Klamath Falls; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
