Rites Set Wednesday
Mrs. Clara E. Suverly, 90, 208 Eighth St., died Sunday in St. Vincent's Nursing Home where she had been a resident since 1964.
A Requiem High Mass will be celebrated by the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Robert A. Feehan in St. Mary's Catholic Church at 10 am Wednesday.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Fischer, David Krank, Leonard Morris, Duane Kiefer, Floyd Marshal and William Kavanev. Burial will be made in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Born Dec. 2, 1876 in Bury, Quebec, Canada, Mrs. Suverly came to the Bismarck territory with her parents in December of 1880 and lived in Emmons County until 1936, when she moved to Bismarck. She was educated at St. Mary's parochial school. She was a teacher.
She was married to George S. Suverly in Bismarck Nov. 30, 1894. He died in 1936. Mrs. Suverly was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of America and Pioneer Daughters.
Mrs. Suverly is survived by 3 nieces, Mary C. Wilde, with whom she had made her home in Bismarck; Mrs. Harriet Myers, and Mrs. Kenneth McWilliams, both of Spokane, WA; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Memorials will be accepted for Father Cassidy's Home on the Range for Boys (Hall Funeral Home).
