Lena was the 4th of 10 children born to William Thomas Knight and Alice Amanda Shadden.

Mar 19th 1905 at the age of 20 she married Robert Cade Fleming in Wichita Falls, Tx. They had 9 children.

In 1925 they were living in Dallas, Texas, in 1929 a U.S. City Directories shows Lena (Widowed) living in Wichita Falls, Tx with the children. Robert did not die until May 8th 1946 in El Paso.

Lena never remarried and died at the age of 89, Living at 2131 1/2 Ave J, Wichita Falls. DC states a result of Peritonitis and perforated stomach ulcers.

She is buried beside her son Mark H Fleming, on back of stone is children Euna, Haze and Jewel
