Joseph Diedrich, 88, a retired farmer, died at 1:10 p.m. Sunday at his home in the Town of Forest. He had been ill two weeks. Mr. Diedrich was born in the Town of Forest Jan. 24, 1868, the son of Stephen and Margaret Gilgenbach Diedrich, and was married Nov. 21, 1905 at Dotyville to Agnes Hollerbach, who preceded him in death. The couple farmed in Forest. Surviving are three stepchildren, Peter and Christine Hollerbach, at home, and Mrs. Agnes Petrie, city. In addition to his wife, two sisters and three brothers preceded him in death. Mr. Diedrich was a member of the Holy Name society. The body of Mr. Diedrich will be in state at the Lisowe Funeral home, St. Cloud, after 3 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held there Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. and at 10 a.m. at St. Michael's church, Dotyville. The Rev. Lawrence Waleske will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Funeral services for Joseph Diedrich, Town of Forest, who died Sunday, were held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Lisowe Funeral home, St. Cloud and 10 a.m. in St. Michael's church, Dotyville. The Rev. Lawrence Waleske officiated. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery. Pallbearers were Leo, Angelo and Norman Loehr, Robert Isaac, George Basler and Joseph Goebel.
