Francis R. "Frank" Patch, 77
Funeral services for Francis R. "Frank†Patch, 77, of Geneva, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home in Geneva.
A longtime resident of Adams County and a former employee at Goodyear Tire in Decatur, Mr. Patch died at 11:22 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10 at Adams County Memorial Hospital. He had served in the US. Army during the Korean Conflict. He also worked in construction and had farmed in Adams County.
Born Sept. 30, 1927 in Grant County to H. Clarence and Martha Alderton Patch, his marriage on April 4, 1951 in Kingman was to the former Betty A. Wendel, who survives.
Also surviving are six sons, Bill of McComb, Ohio; Stan and Randy of Portland; Joe and John of Geneva and Roger of Rockford, Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. David (Tammy) Teeple of Berne and Patty Patch of Decatur; a sister, Ruth Habegger of Berne; three brothers, C. Howard Patch of Bryant, Jesse Patch and Rev. James Patch, both of Decatur; 12 grandchildren, 18 step grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and 32 step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Stanford.
Pastor Randy Smith will officiate at services and burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Geneva.
Calling at the funeral home will be Saturday from 2 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. until time for services.
Preferred memorials are to the Geneva Volunteer Fire Department.
