Woman Dies After Serious Operation

ONTARIO, Nov. 21 - Mrs. Sarah Henzie, wife of E. A. Henzie of Claremont, and mother of Wesley C. Henzie, 120 Princeton street, Ontario, died this morning at the San Antonio community hospital at the age of 56 years.

Mrs. Henzie on Monday underwent an operation for appendicitis. Yesterday, despite the fact that it was found the appendix was ruptured at the time of the operation, her condition was considered favorable, but she took a turn for the worse late last night and the end came this morning.

Funeral arrangements are in charge of Todd & Reeves, Pomona.

Funeral services for Mrs. E. A. Henzie, who passed away at the Upland hospital Wednesday morning, will be held at the Todd & Reeves chapel Saturday at 2 p. m. The Rev. Charles F. Hutslar of the First Christian church will officiate. Entombment will be made in the Pomona mausoleum. The Claremont chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star will have its service at the mausoleum.
