Carl W. Boyd of Blandburg died April 26, 1967 in the Altoona VA Hospital. Born November 27, 1919 in Blandburg, he is the son of Thomas and Ida (Brown) Boyd. Surviving are six brothers and sisters: Mrs Anna Hockenberry, Mrs Marion Franks, Mrs Sadie Matthews, Thomas, Joseph, and George. He was a World War II veteran. Fraiends will be received Friday and Saturday at the Troxell Funeral Home, Glasgow, Pa (Altoona Mirror, April 27, 1967)
