Ida was the wife of Thomas H. Boyd 1868-1940

Mrs Ida Boyd, widow of Thomas Boyd, died at home in Blandburg on 2 May 1954. She was born in Burnt Cabins, Juniata County, 15 Nov 1876; came to Glasgow at an early age. Two sons, James Grant and Raymond Charles, were killed in World War II. She was a member of the Blandburg Methodist Church. Surviving children: Mrs Anna Hockenberry, Mrs Marion Frank, Thomas, George, Carl, Joseph, Mrs Sadie Matthews, and Mrs Ida McMenn. (Altoona Mirror, 3 May 1954)
