Mrs. Mamie Dunagan, 90, Route 3, died Sunday at her home. She was born Sept.
20, 1882, in Stone County Ark.
She moved to the Ada area 10 years ago from Tecumseh. She was married June 28,
1906, to Condy Dunagan. He died in 1954. She was a member of the Church of
Christ.
Services are Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Central Church of Christ, Ada. Services
will be conducted by Richard Jones. Burial will be in Vista Cemetery, Konawa.
Survivors include two sons, Fred, Newcastle, and Elmer, Midwest City; two
daughters, Lois Atkinson and Mary Ellen Abelli, both of Ada; two brothers,
Arthur Elliott, Konawa, and Henry Elliott, Indianapolis; one sister, Nancy
Lawson, Oklahoma City; nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be John Ray, Banks Fowler, Herman Woods, Creston Threlkeld, Jess
Russell, and H.V. Burrough.
Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
